Freight-audit and payment

The analyst who rates every line

You audit carrier invoices for shippers. D&D statements run to hundreds of lines; your job is to find the ones that are wrong and prove it.

The economics of auditing

A freight-audit firm is paid a share of recoveries or a fee per invoice. Either way, the constraint is analyst hours per line. D&D Pilot moves the first pass — rating every line against the governing contract — from an hour of spreadsheet work to seconds, so analyst time goes to the lines that are actually wrong.

Contract library

Shippers' carrier contracts live in the workspace, indexed by carrier, lane and validity. The pre-screen finds the governing one per booking; the most common finding — tariff-rated when a contract exists — becomes a batch dispute.

Proof

Freight-audit disputes succeed on evidence. Each file carries the timeline with sources, the clause quoted and the arithmetic shown, in the carrier's format. The tracker records what was credited and how long it took, per carrier — which is also your sales deck.
