Carrier rejected the dispute — what next

The carrier's reply says the charges stand because the free-time terms were superseded by a tariff change.

What the agent does

  1. Read the carrier's stated ground
  2. Check whether the tariff change applied to this booking's validity date
  3. Draft the response with the booking date and contract validity cited, or close the dispute if the carrier is right

What you get back

A second-round letter, or a closed dispute with the reason recorded — both logged.

Boundaries

If the carrier is right, the file says so. A dispute desk's credibility with carriers is worth more than one container.
